| About Email Forwarding |
|
Email received at one address can be forwarded to one or more additional
addresses. Email can be BOTH saved in the recipients mail box AND forwarded to
one or more additional mail boxes.

| How To Setup
Email Forwarding |
1. Log into your email account using the
http://mail.YourDomainName WebMail
address, your email address and your password (you can not set a vacation
message from the SquirrelMail WebMail system at
http://WebMail.YourDomainName).
2. Click the "Preferences" button at the bottom left,
Email forwarding is in the top section titled General User Settings.

3. Enter the address you want to forward mail to in the "Forward To" text box
and CLICK THE SAVE BUTTON at the top. Email received at this address will
immediately begin forwarding to the address indicated.
- Put in a FULL EMAIL ADDRESS for forwarding, as indicated above.
If you put in an invalid email address, email will be lost.
- Email will not be saved to the current email account unless you specify
that option as indicated below.
4. To save a copy of the email to the email account as well
as forward a copy, include a "dot coma" (.,) at the beginning of the forwarding
address. This is illustrated above.
5. You can forward to multiple email addresses by putting multiple email
addresses in the forward to box, separating them with comas. Do not include
spaces. Your only limit is 255 characters, so you can
forward to more short addresses than to long addresses.
6. ALWAYS TEST. Changes are instant. When you finish making
changes, run some tests to make sure everything is working the way you think.
This does work correctly, when done correctly. If mail is lost due to improper
setup, we can not recover it, so please test.
