Calendar.pl is a web based calendar program compatible with web sites using Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver, or any other web site authoring software.

It is available to CommerceStreet.com web site hosting customers: professionally installed and fully operational. There is a one time $25 setup fee, there are no monthly or additional charges.

Calendar.pl lets you:

• Add a web-based calendar program to your web site.
• Add, edit and delete calendar items with your web browser. (Publishing access is not required and the calendar's user name and password is separate from the web site's publishing user name, password.)
• Fully customize the calendar pages (requires a working knowledge of Perl programming and html).

First, contact your CommerceStreet.com account executive to have the calendar program installed on your web site.

To view the calendar, go to your web site and add /calendar/calendar.pl after your domain name, like this:
http://www.CommerceStreet.com/calendar/calendar.pl

To add, edit and delete events to and from the calendar, click on the small 'Edit' link at the bottom of the calendar. Enter your user name and password, then follow the prompts.

Add and edit a few events and view them on the calendar. Click on a day number to see the details. It should become clear how the calendar works. 

Note to programmers (ignore this note if you don't know what it means): Calendar.pl is a Perl based program using html template files. This calendar program will work in a FrontPage based web site, but customizing the template files with FrontPage may cause them to not work. Customizing Calendar.pl requires a good knowledge of html programming.
